Am I the only one who likes Blue Grass???

I love it!! (Even though I don't know any individual musicians)

What I really like is this MusicMatch features that allow me to find new types of music. Never thought I would be listening to classical more than a few times a month. Now I listen to it.. a few times a week

Currently groving to Guster, Fountains of Wayne, Train
But my musical tastes run from Shania Twain to Pink Floyd, Billy Joel to Aerosmith. I couldn't be pinned down to a genre, and I think if someone is stuck in one genre they are limiting themselves. Though I tend to stick to pop, rock, alternative, and a smattering of country/folk/other.
I don't care for most rap or hip-hop, but everyone once in awhile a song in that genre catches my attention. Although I abhor Opera, pretty much have an open ear to at least respect other genres even if I don't exactly enjoy them very much.

The 80's was a very good time for music (at least for many my age), though as with genres I don't limit myself. There are many good songs from every decade from the 50's to present.

Heavy and brutal Metal is my favorite genre, like GWAR, Fear Factory, KoRn, Deftones, Filter, Type O Negative, System Of A Down. I don't like death metal though...

I like popular music as well, hip hop, rnb, rock, pop, and I especially like house as well: melodic disco house that is... from artists as Julien Jabre, Bel Amour, Cosmos, The Youngsters, Phatts & Small, Roger Sanchez, Fabrizio etc.

I listen to mostly anything, as long as it's inspiring and has something special to it.

I like your taste IP. Skynard was a favorite particularly. Of course I'm partial to blues, classical and particularly jazz as well. Mostly older, smooth jazz though.

Rap (in any flavor) and Opera are avoided where possible though.
